Youth Development Grant

(for Community-Based Organizations)

Mayor Andre Dickens announced the City of Atlanta will invest $1M in Youth Development Grants. The program is in partnership with Urban League of Greater Atlanta to support youth-serving, local, community-based organizations.
This project is supported, in part, by a federal award awarded to the City of Atlanta by the U.S. Department of Treasury.  Grants will be awarded to selected nonprofit organizations to increase their capacity to serve City of Atlanta students disproportionately impacted by COVID-19.
The Bottoms Administration has worked hard to ensure that our officers are trained, equipped, and paid commensurate with the challenges they face and their unwavering dedication. The City of Atlanta is doing its part to ensure equity is immersed in all of our decisions. We are forging a new day in Atlanta, where our police officers can live and thrive in the communities they serve; and where we can collectively evaluate the way our justice system works.
